Handle each drop one-handed on dark early morning streets
A driver app and control screen concept for a hypothetical early morning delivery company. Dispatchers see deliveries left by zone and zones likely to miss the target time on one screen.

Dark streets, busy hands
Drivers look at their phones while carrying boxes in dark alleys, so small text and buttons are hard to read and tap.

Leaked entrance codes
Entrance codes left in notes or group chats can expose residents’ information.

Delays found too late
Head office often learns which zone is late only after customers start asking.

Dark screen and a large arrival button
ObservedDrivers tap with a thumb while holding a box in the other hand.
DecidedA high-contrast dark screen is the default, and the arrival button is large and fixed to the bottom of the screen.

Access codes deleted after the photo
ObservedAn entrance code is only needed at the moment of delivery.
DecidedCodes are visible only within 50 m of the address and are removed from the device once the completion photo is taken.

Delivery list kept without signal
ObservedSignal often drops in underground parking lots and elevators.
DecidedThe delivery list is stored on the device, and completion records are sent automatically when the signal returns.

Zones at risk on the control home
ObservedBackup drivers only help if they are sent before a delay is certain.
DecidedFinish times are calculated from deliveries left and the last 30 minutes of pace, and zones likely to miss the target are shown in red on the map.
