Pet healthrecord app
A pet app where one receipt photo updates the health record and files the insurance claim
An app concept for a hypothetical startup offering pet health records and pet insurance claims together. Reviewers at the partner insurer check only the items with low recognition accuracy in the admin screen.

When the bill is small, gathering documents feels like more trouble than it is worth, so many owners skip the claim.

Vaccination, visit and weight records are split between paper from each clinic and the phone’s photo gallery.

Reads items and amounts from a receipt photo and asks the owner to confirm only uncertain items.

Shows the expected payout and how it was calculated. The itemized bill is attached automatically by the clinic.

Claim button next to each visit
ObservedOwners log visits and file claims as separate tasks, and the claim often gets forgotten.
DecidedUnclaimed visits appear at the top of home and next to the visit in the health record with a claim button.

Confirm only uncertain items
ObservedAsking owners to recheck every recognized item makes many give up after taking the photo.
DecidedOnly items with low recognition accuracy are highlighted in yellow for confirmation, and the review screen marks the same items.

Auto-approved and flagged claims apart
ObservedMost claims reviewers see each day are small, with receipts that were recognized cleanly.
DecidedThe admin list is split into auto-approved, needs review and more info requested, so reviewers start with the claims that need a person.

Plain explanations for diagnoses
ObservedOwners often cannot follow the medical terms in test results and call the clinic again to ask.
DecidedEach diagnosis has a one-line explanation and a suggested next visit, with a note to discuss details with the vet.
