Restaurant food supplyordering app
A food supply ordering app to reorder last week’s items after closing and receive them by dawn
An ordering app concept for a hypothetical distributor that supplies restaurants with vegetables, meat and seasonings. The distributor totals closed orders by item in the admin screen to check stock shortages and dispatch by vehicle.
- Problem 01
Orders by phone and text
Orders sent late at night by text or voice message are copied by staff the next morning, item by item.
- Problem 02
No place to report shortages
Dawn deliveries are left outside the restaurant, and there is no set way to report short or damaged goods.
- Problem 03
Credit known only at month end
With paper statements, owners learn what they spent only when the month-end bill arrives.

Reorder the last order from home
ObservedRestaurants order the same items in similar amounts every week.
DecidedThe top of home has a button to add the last order as is, plus frequent items with their usual quantities.

Package size and price per kg together
ObservedA 15 kg sack and a 5 kg sack of onions are hard to compare, and prices change every week.
DecidedEach item shows package size and price per kg side by side, and items that cost more than last week are marked.

Credit as the default payment
ObservedFood supply is commonly bought on credit and settled at month end.
DecidedCredit (month-end settlement) is selected by default, and the settlement screen shows this month’s spending, remaining limit and debit date.
- 04
Issue reports per item
ObservedIf one or two items are missing, there is no need to question the whole order.
DecidedOwners check goods item by item and report a photo and quantity on the line with the issue, and confirmed amounts are deducted from the statement.
