A shop attendance app covering clock-in, weekly holiday pay and contract signing
An attendance and payroll app concept for hypothetical small shops with part-time staff, such as cafes and bakeries. The owner approves shift swaps and record corrections in the app, and totals weekly hours and pay on the web.

Scattered clock records
With paper timesheets or group chat messages, hours have to be pieced together again at month end.

Confusing weekly holiday pay
Weekly holiday pay depends on whether each week reaches 15 hours, which is hard to track when schedules change often.

Swaps with no record
When staff trade shifts among themselves, the owner has to ask who actually worked when calculating pay.

Clock-in by Wi-Fi or location
ObservedIndoors, GPS drift can keep the clock-in button from working even inside the shop.
DecidedStaff can clock in when either the shop Wi-Fi or the shop location is confirmed, and both are shown above the button.

Weekly holiday pay shown by week
ObservedKorean labor law requires weekly holiday pay for staff who work 15 or more contracted hours a week with full attendance.
DecidedThe pay slip and the owner’s payroll table show hours and holiday pay for each week, marking weeks with 15 hours or more.

Swaps accepted, then approved
ObservedIf swaps agreed between staff apply immediately, the person on shift changes without the owner knowing.
DecidedRequests go only to staff without an overlapping shift, and after they accept and the owner approves, the schedule and pay update.

Contracts signed in the app
ObservedPart-time staff also need a written contract, and paper copies are a hassle for both sides to keep.
DecidedStaff review and sign the standard contract the owner signed and sent, and the signed copy stays in both document folders.
